The Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (MEAL) course is designed to strengthen organizational capacity to generate, use, and learn from evidence in development and humanitarian programs.
This course provides a practical and integrated approach to MEAL, moving beyond compliance-focused monitoring toward systems that promote accountability, learning, and informed decision-making. Participants gain hands-on knowledge of how to design MEAL frameworks, collect and analyze data, ensure accountability to stakeholders, and apply learning to improve program quality and impact.
Special emphasis is placed on accountability mechanisms, feedback systems, and adaptive management, ensuring that programs remain responsive to community needs, donor expectations, and changing operational contexts.
By the end of the training, participants will be able to establish functional MEAL systems that support transparency, continuous learning, and evidence-based program improvement.
